Antonio Stradivari is actually thought to have been born in 1644; he built violins and various stringed instruments in Cremona, Italy until his passing away in 1737. He as well manufactured cellos, violas, harps, along with guitars, nevertheless he is of course most well known for his famous violins. The Stradivarius violin for sale is these days the unquestioned standard through which all other violins are measured.

Stradivari produced his violins entirely by hand, plus he took great care to choose only the best materials, from the woods all the way down to the actual finishing varnishes. The best estimates are that he made somewhere around 1,100 instruments throughout his lifetime, including the violins. Of the approximately 630 to 650 of those instruments that even now survive these days, 512 are violins. Two of Stradivari’s sons also continued his work after his death.
