Hello! I am not a drummer, but I've got a friend who plays drums, eh, as hobby (he is not a professional).
anyway, when I'm at his home (drum set is in the garage) sometimes I like to play and, ok, what is the less expensive drum set I could buy, if I want to start? and can I buy it online. I'm not an expert so a shop dealer can tell me anything and I could buy a bad product, while online it's difficult to trick a customer.

OfflineHi King,
My advice is to go to a second hand shop and buy it piece by piece. That way you get everything you want. Make sure the hardware is good, i.e. hi-hat stand and bass drum pedal, that's very important! You want it to feel right and be reliable. I recommend chained bass drum pedals and hi-hat stands.
If you're shopping on line… go to kijiji or craigslist and make an appointment to actually see the kit.
Hope this helps.
Good luck my friend,
Michael
