HDMI cables are used to transfer video and audio signals through a single line between HDMI devices, such as a home theater receiver and an HDTV. First, connect the HDMI cable to one of the inputs on the back of the receiver. Then, turn on the receiver and press the remote controller to open the surround sound function. Press the “OK” button to toggle from one speaker setting to the next for setting the audio from the HDMI cable. The receivers are programmed to adjust speaker audio in a clockwise manner around your room, with the last adjustment being for the subwoofer. To suit your personal preferences, adjust the setting for each speaker and press the “enter” button on the remote controller to skip to the next speaker. If there are no side speakers in your room, simply skip to the next speaker.

HDMI cables are undoubtedly powerful A/V cables widely used to connect A/V devices, including gaming consoles, HDTVs, Blu-ray players, and more. The standard HDMI cables you typically use are short, around 4ft in length. However, there is equipment available that allows you to create a longer cable. 1. Connect one end of the first HDMI cable to one of the ports on your HDMI connector.
2. Connect one end of the second HDMI cable to the other port on the HDMI connector. Now, you have an HDMI cable that is twice the size of the original cable.
3. Test the cable by connecting the ends of the cables to the ports on the TV and A/V device. Turn on both devices and switch the TV to its HDMI channel to check if the signal is being delivered correctly.
