The Way of Kings Book Review

How of Kings by Brandon Sanderson is an epic fantasy novel and the first book in The Stormlight Archive series. The story takes place in a world called Roshar that is constantly battered by magical storms. Humanity has been cast out of their paradise and left to struggle in a world that has been devastated by war with an unknown enemy. The story follows the life of Kaladin, a slave who has been condemned to a living death, working as a bridge runner on the Shattered Plains.

Sanderson’s writing in How of Kings is considered to be his best work yet. The book has everything that you could want in an epic fantasy novel. The world-building is phenomenal, and the magic system is intricate and unique. The characters are well-developed, and the plot is full of action, suspense, and intrigue.
