This hybrid instrument has since become beloved by versatile players and fans of the banjo sound. Here’s a guide on how to easily tune a six-string banjo.

The quickest and most accurate way to tune the instrument is by using an electronic tuner. Simply clip the tuner to the headstock of the banjo to minimize errors and difficulties associated with non-clip tuners. Sit in a comfortable position where you can see the tuner display while simultaneously plucking the strings.

The six-string hybrid banjo is tuned just like a guitar, with the notes E-A-D-G-B-E. You can use a standard guitar tuner for this purpose.
