music Spring Updates Hello! Spring is near (March), we need some fresh new changes to our clothes and look. Also for websites!

So I updated adding a new webradio with lounge, chillout, new age and smooth jazz music. It’s the music I love when reading blogs and forums, it relaxes a lot, facilitate meditation, help focusing.

You’ll see that the music doesn’t start automatically for Listen to Music Online page. I think would be difficult to listen to both chillout music and also my soundtracks at the same time.

Learn Guitar Scales : The Mixolydian Solos

When you learn guitar scales, you become able to really spice up your lead guitar playing. Once you begin to learn guitar scales, you get beyond the “blues box” or just playing by ear (which is often not all that it’s made out to be). And one of the best guitar scales to learn is the Mixolydian Mode.

When you learn guitar scales, you learn that a scale is a set of seven notes that is defined by the root note. The Mixolydian mode is created by taking the major scale, and simply making the fifth note the new root note. The distinct steps of the major scale are retained, we just start and end on a different note. So we now create a new sounding scale called the Mixolydian mode which can be applied to all twelve keys.

For advanced guitar players, a mode can be more than just the first and last note of the scale. This means that the advanced guitar player knows the various intervals contained within a particular mode. This actually defines the mode’s feel and sound, while the key that the mode is played in defines the exact notes to be used.

Since 1947 Fender Guitars has been manufacturing fine instruments. Since then they have become equated with fine quality, innovation and design. Headquartered in Scottsdale, Arizona, the history of this company is a testament to American passion, ingenuity, manufacturing and design.

Leo Fender founded Fender’s Radio service in 1938 working as an electronics technician. He repaired amplifiers, radios and other electronics devices. He also sold records as a side business and made PA systems for his customers to rent.

K & F Manufacturing was created in the 1940′s when Leo and “Doc” Kauffman went into business together. They built and sold electronic instruments and amplifiers. They patented guitar pickups and used them in steel guitars. By 1946, Kauffman was not convinced of the potential or direction of the company, so he and Leo parted ways. Leo changed the name of the company to Fender Electric Instrument Company.
