In 2008, Valve introduced Left 4 Dead to the world, which quickly gained recognition as one of the greatest multiplayer games, zombie games, and overall games of the decade. Despite its flaws, the innovative gameplay captivated both critics and players alike. Just a year later, Valve released Left 4 Dead 2, initially met with dismay from fans of the original and sparking outrage among thousands. Many saw it as a rushed sequel or an expansion, but upon its release, the game dispelled all concerns.
