Alternatively you would have to use a piece of music that could get you into legal difficulties, or spending a huge amount of money having it specially written for you.

-Instruction
Instruction is good when you start to learn and you can enroll for guitar lessons at a near by junior college, a music studio, or with a private instructor. -Practice

Many of us would want to learn how to play a single or multiple musical instruments. Playing an instrument is an advantage and at the same time, it shows a distinct mark of a person. This is because not many people can play musical instruments. Playing a musical instrument is like a privilege to chosen few individual. It would seem that those people that can play a single musical instrument must have come from a privilege family because learning to play musical instruments does not come in cheap.

One of the most sophisticated musical instruments is the violin. Learning the violin and being able to play it marks an individual. Not many are able play the violin because it requires a rigid commitment to practices and it is also expensive to learn. Learning the violin is never an easy task. Yet there are people who want to start learning the violin nowadays because learning the violin presents a challenge to many.

Learning the violin will be manageable once an individual is ready for the challenge. To learn the right and proper way to play the violin, one must enroll in a formal class and be handled or be taught by a violin teacher. Aside from enrolling a formal class, one can also hire a private violinist to teach them (this can be expensive). Some others can choose to read books on learning the violin or understanding the basics and the concepts of playing the violin. The essential thing to consider first is to follow the basics in playing the violin. The standards or basics in playing the violin start on good posture and holding the instrument. This is crucial to the violinist because if it is done improperly, these may cause some injury and muscle aches.

The next thing to do is to learn music. Learning music is much complicated than learning the right posture and handling of the violin. One has to be acquainted with the notes, the counting, the music terms, the tones, rhythms, etc. This is not learned overtime and this is the most difficult aspect to learn above all because one will need to stick the rules in order to create good music with violin. Then upon learning all, one has to check on techniques and strategies that are basic to an individual learning the violin because this can help progress thought the stages in learning to play the instrument.

Once an individual has familiarized himself or herself with the basics and rules in playing violin, they are now entitled to start practicing songs played by the violin. These may seem easy, but it is not because playing the violin is difficult especially on the proper sliding of the bow on the strings to create a sound.

Without practicing the right techniques in playing the instrument, their will be no success on the matter at all. That is why learning the violin is crucial to many people. One really has to practice in order to achieve the status or title of a violin pro.

Do you struggle reading drum sheet music, whether you find tabs on the internet or ‘real’ drum music from a book or magazine?  You might see them as a bunch of random lines and strange symbols?  If this is the case you are right, they are.  Let me burst the music bubble right now, those strange meaningless lines, dots and symbols are the language of music that is the key that unlocks the door to your favorite songs and bands.

There are really two types of drum sheet music.

1. Traditional Drum Music Notation

2. Drum Tabs found on the internet

Drumming Tabs

These tabs have become very popular over the last 10 years and you will find them exclusively online at drum, guitar and bass sites mainly.  They have become so popular because the author can produce the tabs for free and are notated without the need to buy expensive software.  Anyone viewing the tabs needs no software at the other end and thus creates a great partnership.  Tabs represent the division of the beat with small dashes, these dashes also serve as the five line stave.  The drum elements are written with circles or the letter o, hi-hats and cymbals are read with a x.  Each drum or cymbal is written almost in the same way as traditional notation, I say almost!

The main problem with drum tabs is that it is very hard to write or indeed read the music with any degree of accuracy.  The biggest problem is representing rhythmic values.  I have had many students bring tabs that they want to learn, as a drum teacher your hands are tied unless you know the song and can work out the rhythms of the drum part elements.  There is however a far easier way to read drum sheet music….

Learning To Read Traditional Drum Notation

Tradition tabs are written on sheet music manuscript paper or with notation software.  The draw back to software is that they are usually expensive to buy and a steep learning curve is required to master the software.  Some software requires the end user to also have the program to see the music.  Other programs allow the drum music to be published with PDF programs which makes life easier for the end user.  The obvious plus is that the drum tabs are much clearer and far easier to read than Word Document tabs.

If you visit the site below you will find lots of examples of drum music written out using dedicated software.  You will also find lessons that teach you how to read drum music.  It’s actually very easy!  Basically each element of the drum set has its own line or space.  The notes towards the bottom of the five line staveare for low drums such as the bass drum.  Generally notes at the top of the stave are for the cymbals.  The notes themselves look like piano music and each symbol represents a different note length, this allows you to understand the exact drum rhythm of the music.

This is what is best about these tabs the rhythms can be precisely notated.  If you are a drummer learning to play you need to develop your skills when you read drum rhythms.  It is an essential tool for any musician, with a little effort anyone can learn to read notation very easily and it will open up your world to the music you love and want to play.

Nashville is not only the capital of Tennessee and the second most populous city as well as having many industries, but its most well known accomplishment is being dubbed “Music City”.

To many visitors being “Music City” is the most important reason to visit Nashville, especially during the four days of the annual June CMA Music Festival which provides so many big-name country stars available all in one place to put on daily shows, have fan celebrations, sign autographs, participate in sports competitions such as the Annual City of Hope Celebrity Softball Challenge, and provide lots of fun for the whole family.

The bathroom has been banished from backstage with design and technological innovations placing it in the limelight as the home’s headline act. Nowhere has the design revolution gathered such pace, with baths that cradle you within their sinuous shapes and showers that simulate a warm tropical downpour. The notion of a quick dip in the bath has disappeared as householders dedicate more space in their homes to multi-tasking bathrooms where they can cocoon themselves in warmth while catching up with a favorite TV program or listen to music with the lighting turned down low.



With the plethora of bathroom products on the market, the choice can be bewildering but a tour of the remodeled Guildford showroom of the long-established supplier Wilky Bathroom Centre reveals a tightly edited collection of displays reflecting the new trends.

It shows a sculptural free-standing bath and furniture inspired by the age of Romanticism alongside a walk-in Squaro shower which falls from an overhead arch above a tray set flush with the floor. Blurring the boundaries between boudoir, bathroom and living room even further is a waterproof TV recessed into the wall while a dramatic Aestus wall radiator in the form of a feather unites form and function to make a design statement.



Europe’s iconic designers are driving the bathroom revolution with French maestro Philippe Starck’s Starck X range for Axor attracting fans with novel designs that ‘maximize minimalism’ while Hansgrohe’s new bathroom collection from Spanish designer Patricia Urquiola demonstrates her belief that our private living spaces should reflect our personalities with their eclecticism.
