But, I am really chocked by the fact that some other 100.000 professional mainstream musicians just sit on their well payed as, doing no nothing to prevent real art music from disapear from planet earth... Spot on! I have just written a book about these things unfortunately in Swedish… The title translated from Swedish goes: “Reverse polka or cheated of the music”. I have described the situation as very similar to the climate catastrophe and an upcoming ice period concerning art music in the western world. There is however one big difference: Global warming started by nature itself some hundred years ago and counting. “Music cool down” also started some hundred years ago, but only boosted by mankind/state itself… Here in Sweden we are now fast reaching a point, where no one dare to opponent against contemporary music.
