Playing the piano Piano - Learn Piano Online - Learn Piano Online Rocket Piano is a series of eBooks, games, and MP3 files that you can download and become a member of. The eBooks cover everything you could ever want to know about playing the piano. It is excellent when it comes to an interactive piano guide, making it important for both children and… requires long hours of practice, especially when preparing for a big musical event. Among all the aspects involved in playing the piano, one common yet significant factor is discussed in this article.

One factor that many experts never forget is practice. Even if you know all the fingerings and notes, and can read music perfectly, it doesn’t mean anything without practice. Practice is the essence of it all. You need to be fully committed to your craft and practice it every day, or at least three times a week if daily practice is not possible.

If you’re struggling to discipline yourself with your practice hours, here are some notes to consider:

Note #1 – Establish a daily practice routine and stick to it. Find motivation to follow your schedule. It’s advisable to condition yourself to practice every day so that your body becomes accustomed to the routine. Initially, it may feel boring and monotonous, but as you continue to grasp the fundamentals, it becomes more enjoyable to hear yourself play.

Note #2 – Choose a piano practice location where you won’t feel distracted. Your music space should be free from any disturbances, such as a radio or other noisy elements. This allows you to focus while practicing. Also, ensure that there is proper lighting in the area where your piano is located. Remember that your piano should not be exposed to direct sunlight, as it can damage certain sensitive parts of the instrument.

Note #3 – Always warm up. Exercise your fingertips with some easy notes before moving on to more challenging ones. If you’re unsure how to warm up your fingers, ask someone knowledgeable for guidance. Finger exercises can help stretch your fingers and reach keys that are difficult to play. This can be beneficial when playing fast-paced notes and music. Don’t start playing demanding pieces if your hands still feel stiff and rusty.

Note #4 – Review the previous lessons or pieces before starting a new practice session. This comes after warming up. If you didn’t complete a piece the previous day, recall what you played and continue from there. Better yet, start from the beginning to ensure a solid foundation.

Note #5 – Follow your guide or instructor’s advice. Allow them to help you learn. To alleviate boredom, play the piano How To Discover Piano - Sometimes in life, we regret not pursuing hobbies or interests we once enjoyed. I know I regret not continuing to play football and furthering my passion for reading music, especially the piano. Learning to play the piano can seem overwhelming, but when broken down into manageable pieces and with plenty of tuition and practice, it… together as a duet. Share your interests with your instructor and ask them to play pieces you’re interested in, so you can learn and practice them even without their presence.

Note #6 – Make your practice sessions as goal-oriented as possible. Setting goals helps you stay focused and concentrated because you have something to strive for. Accomplishing a goal gives you a sense of satisfaction and fulfillment.

Note #7 – Maintain a positive attitude throughout your practice sessions. If you find yourself playing the piano without anyone guiding you, remember all the lessons your teacher has taught you. Don’t give up easily when things get challenging. If you feel overwhelmed, take a break. Give yourself time to breathe and relax.
