The simple concept of Marsha Ambrosius in her music video for ‘Far Away’ is not the most groundbreaking of inspirations.

The tragic love story between two lovers is a common theme that has been explored in countless plays, movies, dramas, and musicals. However, Ambrosius adds a unique touch to the song by incorporating serious subjects such as suicide, LGBTQ+ rights, and discrimination.

The video portrays Ambrosius spending time with a charming man who is popular among their social circle. However, as soon as his sexual orientation becomes apparent, those who previously enjoyed his company suddenly turn against him, leading to the man taking his own life. Ambrosius stated that the video is not only about her personal contribution to the much-discussed topic but also aims to shed light on the devastating consequences that LGBTQ+ individuals have to endure due to anti-gay bullying in society.

In an interview with MTV News, Ambrosius explained, “The concept for ‘Far Away’ wasn’t unexpected for me as it was a personal experience that I had while writing the song. It stemmed from an experience I went through around the time I wrote it, which was in 2008, when a friend of mine …

On March 25, DJ Pauly D from Jersey Shore took the stage at the Palms Casino and Resort’s Rain nightclub, delighting the wild audience with a compilation video of Britney Spears’ live performances. The crowd went even more berserk when Britney Spears herself appeared on stage.

Britney made a grand entrance wearing a stunning sequined bodysuit, captivating the audience’s attention as she kicked off her performance with the first single from her upcoming album, “Hold It Against Me.” Throughout the song, Britney was surrounded by muscular male dancers who provided immense support. Every effort was made to make the pop superstar look appealing and glamorous, including the use of wind machines that blew back her hair, creating a sexy and polished look on stage.

Once the audience was captivated by Britney’s beauty and her sexy dance routines, she followed up with “Big Fat Bass,” a track produced by Black Eyed Peas’ will.i.am. While her dancers were dressed in yellow outfits, Britney donned a skin-tight bodysuit. Her entrance on stage was from a speakerbox, showcasing her creativity and sending the crowd into a frenzy. Her first song was more of a medley, featuring her past hits such as …

Rumors abound that Wiz Khalifa and Amber Rose have begun dating, although neither of them has confirmed these speculations. However, Wiz recently revealed that he recently introduced Rose to his mother. The Pittsburgh-born rapper made this revelation during an interview with Funkmaster Flex on the Hot 97 show.

Wiz described the meeting between Rose and his mother as “cool” and expressed, “They really, absolutely, truly like each other. Amber is a sweetheart, and anyone who meets her likes her anyway. So, it was a really great experience.” Wiz mentioned that Rose met his mother during the AFC Championship game, where he was invited by his beloved Pittsburgh Steelers to kick off the event by performing his famous track ‘Black and Yellow.’

The usually confident MC seemed somewhat shy as he explained the event to Flex. He mentioned that the meeting was made possible due to Rose’s flight schedule. While Wiz has shown his love for Pittsburgh on various occasions, he told The Source magazine at the end of last year that he is considering relocating to Hollywood to further his career.

The tall rapper has become a regular figure on the West Coast due to his …

80’s Music – What Do We Know About It?

If you ask somebody about 80’s Music, it doesn’t always evoke pleasant memories in terms of musical quality. The general perception is that the 60s was the era when rock music truly blossomed, while the 70s was dominated by disco music. The 60s had iconic bands like the Rolling Stones, the Beatles, and the Who, along with many other influential groups that shaped the landscape of modern rock as we know it today.

80’s Music, unfortunately, receives less recognition from the masses, but experts argue that it doesn’t deserve such unfair treatment. Tears for Fears, one of the best bands of the 80s, produced worldwide hits like “Shout” and “Everybody Wants to Rule the World.” In reality, the 80s gave birth to many incredible songs, but it doesn’t receive the level of appreciation it deserves compared to other musical eras.

There was no shortage of contemporary pop bands in the 80s either. Artists like Pet Shop Boys and Depeche Mode emerged with hits like “West End Girls” and “Route 66,” respectively. Cult groups like The Cure also thrived during that time, and they influenced many famous artists. Psychedelic Furs, whose track “Pretty in Pink” achieved tremendous success, …
