21 MAY is the Release day for Beyond Orchestral

My latest Album is an impressive Orchestral Album, a trip between orchestral and electronics sounds, the story of an hero!

The star of the Album will travel between space and time, to reach a new world, fighting a dragon, fighting for love and becoming a real hero!

The intro and ending of the Album are electronic tracks, while ‘the trip’ is made of orchestral tracks.

Understanding MIDI as an element of modern-day songs

Understanding MIDIUnderstanding MIDI, or Musical Instrument Digital Interface, is an industry-standard communication protocol that allows electronic musical instruments such as synthesizers, drum machines, computers, and samplers to communicate with each other. It does not contain audio data but transmits information related to musical notes, such as pitch, intensity, cues, volume, vibrato, and clock signals.

Modern musicians often use MIDI files to create various types of drum beats and music tracks. These files contain a series of digital instructions that can be used to generate music when connected to MIDI-compatible adapters. MIDI files are easily editable compared to WAV audio files, and each file contains a combination of separate channels detailing different musical instruments. This structure allows musicians to easily manipulate the frequencies of notes and blend them together.

Introducing Tabla: A popular musical instrument of Indian Classical Music

The Tabla is a versatile musical instrument primarily used in Indian Classical music and is an integral part of major traditional dances in India. In recent times, it has been used in other musical genres, such as jazz, where it adds an extra layer of charm and appeal.

As a percussion instrument, the origin of the Tabla remains unclear, but it is generally believed that its current form is about a century old. It consists of two drums: the bayan (left-hand drum) and the dayan (right-hand drum). The bayan is larger and typically made of metal, such as brass, nickel, or aluminum, although it can also be made from reddish-brown clay or ceramic. Its top layer is made of leather and features a round black patch composed of flour, iron filings, ferric oxide powder, and starch. The bayan can produce two distinct sounds.

The dayan, on the other hand, is smaller and usually crafted from a type of rosewood. It also has a black patch at the center of its surface and can produce twelve different sounds. By synchronizing both drums, the Tabla can create a wide range of sound effects, although mastering
