Pearl is a Japanese-based company that has been in operation since 1952, offering a wide range of products. However, it is most renowned for its impressive line of percussion instruments. The company was initially founded by Kasumi Ynagisawa, who started by manufacturing music stands. Over the years, the company expanded its product range to include drum kits, marching drums, cymbals, Latin percussion instruments, stands, and accessories. In the 1960s, Pearl experienced significant growth to meet the international demand for musical instruments. In 1966, they introduced their first professional drum kit, known as the President Series.
