Understanding Post Production Color Correction

Gel Samples

One notable aspect of post-production color correction is the availability of various software options to accomplish this task. The use of software makes the entire process easier and faster compared to traditional methods. These digital tools integrated into the software are much simpler to use.

There are gels available in the market or software designed for digital images that allow individuals to achieve a wide range of hues. Their application depends on the desired results. They can be combined with other sources to create various color combinations. The beauty of technology is that even if someone creates something they are not satisfied with, they can easily modify it to make it more desirable.

There are gels or software tools that can make scenes appear more natural, which can be quite exciting. The goal is to blend the colors seamlessly and produce an image that looks as though it occurred naturally. This is particularly useful in situations where there are different types of lighting.

To accomplish this, individuals require various digital tools. Instead of using traditional tools, modern ones such as masks, power windows, and similar tools can be used. There are several software options available in …

Checking Out The Best Christian Hip Hop Artists

When people used to talk about Christian hip-hop artists, it wasn’t always in the most positive light. The genre of hip-hop for spreading the Gospel had its fair share of disappointments as it found its footing. However, today we can witness some of the most impressive musicians in this genre.

Let’s start with one of the most renowned Christian rappers today, Lecrae. As an artist signed to Reach Records, Lecrae has had a remarkable career in this genre. He has released several hit albums and has broken barriers with popular tracks like ‘Jesus Muzik’ and ‘Take Me As I Am’.

There are also artists who have been able to navigate across genre lines and find their place. One such example is Toby Mac, who gained initial recognition and stardom as a frontman in DC Talk. He then ventured into rapping and created a unique blend of funk, rock, and bass-driven anthems that captivated audiences. Toby Mac is also the owner and operator of Gotee Records.

Another rapper who cannot be overlooked in the genre is KJ-52. While he may be best known for his tracks ‘Dear Slim’ and ‘Dear Slim Part 2’, which received MTV exposure, KJ-52 …

Important String Muting Tactics For Lead Guitar

String muting is another technique that can help you define your individual style. Muting can also allow you to create cleaner and more impressive chords and solos by eliminating unwanted sounds from your guitar.

There are two types of string muting: palm muting with your picking hand and string muting with your fretting hand. They serve different purposes but are both essential for perfect guitar playing.

Fret-hand muting is particularly important when playing chords and power chords. The goal is to use a part of your fingertips and fingers to mute the strings you don’t want to include in the chord being played. For example, when playing the C major chord, you’re only supposed to hit the fifth string to the first, while avoiding the sixth string. I use the tip of my third finger, which is pressing down on the fifth string at the third fret, to lightly touch the sixth string, effectively muting it. I also employ the fleshy part of my index finger to lightly touch strings 1, 2, and 3, with enough pressure to mute them. The advantage is that even if you get a bit aggressive with your picking, it still sounds …

Music And Singing Tips – The Diaphragm Is The Source Of Vocal Power

If your objective is to have a centered voice and achieve effortless performance while singing, learning to have a relaxed or better known among singers as a “released” diaphragm is the way to accomplish this. It is not uncommon for first-time singers who seem to have large lung capacity and relaxed diaphragms to freeze up at the last moment. They should not be worried as there is nothing wrong with the diaphragm, but it may not function effectively for various reasons, which we will discuss here.

Getting through an entire song can be a challenge for any singer, especially if they are using incorrect breathing techniques, which can be distressing for those unaware of it. Even with superior breathing technique, singers may find that the demands of the song leave their diaphragm feeling constricted and uncomfortable. Vocal training students who have been singing and studying for years, and have been able to open up their voices, still struggle to access that final 15% of their performance, and they have no idea how to tap into it.

Can anyone truly think of the logical reason why a singer can’t obtain and master this “so-called” invisible energy? My previous …

Rock and Roll: A History

Neil Cross

Rock and roll emerged in the southern states of the USA, blending elements of blues, country, jazz, and gospel music. While traces of rock and roll can be found in music as early as the 1920s, it wasn’t until the 1950s that it solidified as a distinct genre. Although pinpointing a specific year or track that marked the birth of rock and roll is challenging due to the evolutionary nature of music, Elvis Presley is often regarded as the first true rock and roll icon.

The original form of rock and roll declined towards the end of the 1950s with the tragic deaths of Buddy Holly, Ritchie Valens, and The Big Bopper in a plane crash, as well as the temporary or permanent exit of many other prominent artists from the music industry Marketing and Music: Any Song Can Become Famous? - Today let's dive into a topic that's been buzzing around a lot: the relationship between marketing and music. We all know that marketing plays a massive role in the music industry, but does it actually hold the power to make any track a hit? Or does talent still stand a chance? First off, let's address…
