Sade Adu, the lead singer of the band SADE, made a remarkable comeback to the stage after more than a decade off the radar. Her previous albums, “Diamond Life” (1984) and “Lovers Rock” (2000), have become timeless additions to the collections of soul and soft rock fans worldwide. Finally, last evening, her fans had the opportunity to see her live at the Toronto Air Canada Center.

The Guitar Neck

The guitar neck is a vital component of the instrument. It consists of the fretboard and the truss rod, which helps maintain the neck’s straightness. The fretboard can be a solid piece or have inlays for the frets, typically made of rosewood, ebony, or maple. The truss rod, located inside the neck, can be adjusted to prevent bowing or warping. At the headstock, you’ll find the tuning setup with machine heads and adjusting pegs, as well as string guides to keep the strings in place. The nut, made from materials like ivory or bone, sits at the top of the neck and holds the strings.

Discover How History Of Music Will Make Your Music More Luminous

When I first embarked on studying the history of music History of Music and Current Recording Industry Crisis - Roger L. Bagula wrote this exclusive article for ManuelMarino.com. In a time when the whole future of how music is distributed is in question, maybe we should look at the history of music for a guide. Many of us find music is a part of our everyday life; both in terms of listening and making… , I had no idea what I was getting myself into. I had the notion that music history was somewhat of an insignificant pursuit.

To be honest, I simply enrolled in a history of classical music course because I needed the credits. I’m sure some of you can relate to that. I didn’t realize how incredibly fascinating music history could be. You see, in our culture, many of us don’t truly learn to understand music. For a large portion of the world, music is a language, but for us, it’s something we passively consume.
