It was produced by the Fender Musical Instruments Corporation, a company that specializes in manufacturing music equipment, including bass guitars. This decal is associated with the prototypes only.

There was a second, larger, black gold-outlined Telecaster Bass logo. The word “Bass” and the Fender logo were expected to be in the same style.

The third type of classic bass was the most common of all. It featured a silver Fender script with the word “Bass” written in a sans-serif font style below it.

Fender Japan modeled another version of the 1951 Precision Bass. This new model was a reissue of the original Telecaster Bass. This bass was introduced to the market and had many features that closely resembled the original versions produced in 1951. Examples of these similarities include the string ferrules, which are the same as those used in the original classic bass.
