During this year’s CES (Consumer Electronics Show), Panasonic unveiled its latest lineup of high-definition plasma and LCD televisions. If you’re unsure about which model to choose, keep reading for a simple buying guide featuring Panasonic’s newest 42-inch HDTV.

For those interested in enjoying 3D movies, the ST30 plasma TV is an excellent option. It boasts an impressive Sub-field Drive of 600Hz, ensuring that blurs and judders are eliminated. To create your dream entertainment center at home, it comes equipped with three HDMI ports. Additionally, you can connect it to the internet for web browsing and enjoy video calls using Skype.

Another plasma TV to consider is the S30. While most of its features are similar to the ST30, it does not have 3D playback capability. Both TVs feature the VIERA Image Viewer technology, allowing you to access image and video files from USB- and DLNA-compatible devices such as USB flash drives, laptops, and cell phones.

Panasonic also introduced several LCD TVs. The D30 and E30 models both have screen refresh rates of 120Hz, making them ideal for watching fast-paced sports or action videos. You can connect up to four AV components via HDMI on both models. The D30 is equipped with three USB ports, while the E30 has only two.

The E3 model has a screen refresh rate of 60Hz and includes a PC input, making it suitable for use as a computer monitor as well. It features four HDMI ports for connecting your favorite AV components. On the other hand, the U30 model boasts a 120Hz screen refresh rate and supports up to three HDMI inputs.

All of these Panasonic plasma and LCD TVs come with display panels capable of showcasing resolutions of 1920 x 1080 pixels. They also feature the VIERA Link technology, allowing you to control all connected devices with a single remote controller.
