Christian Wedding Songs – Using Christian Rock Music for Your Wedding

When you think of weddings and imagine the list of songs a bride and groom typically choose, you would naturally picture heartfelt, romantic love songs with mushy descriptions of love. Commonly, these are the types of songs couples tend to select for their special day.

But have you ever considered using an upbeat Christian wedding song? I have actually attended a wedding wherein the bride and the groom chose a unique song lineup. Instead of selecting the usual sentimental love songs, I was surprised and impressed when they opted to use Christian rock wedding music for their wedding reception.

Yes, you heard it right. They actually chose wedding music with a rock genre. Contrary to the assumption that guests wouldn’t appreciate the song lineup, surprisingly everyone enjoyed it, even the older guests. It wasn’t offensive, as the lyrics were Christian in nature, just accompanied by an upbeat melody.

These days, modern couples are becoming more and more open to suggestions and are eager to try unique ways to make their special day unforgettable and fun. Although many couples may still choose sentimental music, it’s not a bad idea at all to suggest a different kind of music genre.…
