Music And Singing Tips – The Diaphragm Is The Source Of Vocal Power

If your objective is to have a centered voice and achieve effortless performance while singing, learning to have a relaxed or better known among singers as a “released” diaphragm is the way to accomplish this. It is not uncommon for first-time singers who seem to have large lung capacity and relaxed diaphragms to freeze up at the last moment. They should not be worried as there is nothing wrong with the diaphragm, but it may not function effectively for various reasons, which we will discuss here.

Getting through an entire song can be a challenge for any singer, especially if they are using incorrect breathing techniques, which can be distressing for those unaware of it. Even with superior breathing technique, singers may find that the demands of the song leave their diaphragm feeling constricted and uncomfortable. Vocal training students who have been singing and studying for years, and have been able to open up their voices, still struggle to access that final 15% of their performance, and they have no idea how to tap into it.

Piano Chords – Major Vs Minor Chords

Before discussing the difference between major and minor chords, it’s important to understand what a chord is.

A chord is a combination of three notes that creates a specific musical impression. In this article, we will delve into the theoretical difference between major and minor chords and explore the sound they produce.

Major and Minor Chords

To define a major chord, we need to be familiar with the names of two intervals. An interval represents the distance between two notes in a chord.

If the distance between the lowest note and the highest note in the interval is two whole tones, it is called a major third.

If the distance between the lowest note and the highest note in the interval is one and a half tones, it is called a minor third.

We will use these intervals to construct major and minor chords.

Chords can be played in various positions, but in this piano lesson, we will focus on playing major and minor chords in root position. What does that mean? It means that the note indicating the chord name should be the lowest note in the chord.

For example, when playing a C major chord, we already know …

Learning Photography

Massimo Mestichelli is an Italian photographer who discovered this Art recenty. We can read his new emotions and feelings in this exclusive “diary” he wrote for us.

Diary of an Italian Photographer

Less than one year ago, I introduced myself in the wondering world of photography buying my first digital reflex camera. Before this moment, I took shots with digital cameras (‘compact cameras’) using them with automatic settings. These cameras are very small and their portability is good for a lot of situations (vacations, birthday, etc.) but it’s difficult to take night shots, speedy events and so on. With my reflex, now, I can take shots of a lot of kinds I never thought before.Practice and technical documents are basilar in everything and photography isn’t an exception. Try, try and try again to find what you want, not what is beautiful. This is just my opinion but is my choice in photography.

Some days ago, I bought a webspace and I built and published my personal website dedicated to the digital photography. You can find classical shots but there a lot of uncommon photos. It’s a kind of diary where I can share with all you my preferred shots, …
