Some individuals believe that if you want to change the world, you shouldn’t become a bass player; you should pursue something more challenging and stimulating, like working at the Post Office. But does this misconception accurately depict bass players? Let’s reconsider our habitual perception of bass guitarists as necessary but unexciting members of a band, similar to accountants. It all began in 1993 when the rock band The Invictas are back - Bruce Atchison is one of my (no more available Yahoo Group) best members and he wrote this great article. Bruce is a legally blind freelance writer and the author of two books, When a Man Loves a Rabbit (Learning and Living With Bunnies) and Deliverance from Jericho (Six Years in a Blind School). The first… Pearl Jam performed before 25,000 fans at a free concert on the desert lawns of the Empire Polo Club. This laid the foundation for what would become the nation’s largest music festival, the Coachella Valley Music and Art Festival.

Six years later, the Coachella Festival, commonly known as Coachella Fest, showcases the best of the music world, drawing over 60,000 guests each day for three days of simultaneous music performances on multiple stages.

Initially held in October, the festival organizers realized that the desert heat was intense during that time of year, prompting them to move it to April when the weather is more tolerable and often quite pleasant.
