If you’re in search of one of the world’s finest electric guitars, consider a Rickenbacker guitar. Originating in the 1930s, the Rickenbacker guitar has a rich history intertwined with celebrity culture. John Lennon of The Beatles owned a Rickenbacker guitar, which he used during their debut performance on The Ed Sullivan Show in 1964. Other Beatles members, including Ringo Starr, Paul McCartney, and George Harrison, also owned Rickenbacker guitars, showcasing the brand’s quality and popularity.

Getting a signed guitar is a dream come true for die-hard fans. What could be better than owning a guitar autographed by your favorite artist or band? The only challenge is that it’s one of the most elusive collectibles to come across.

Posters and photos are more common since they can be readily obtained and signed at concerts. You can’t exactly bring a guitar into a concert and hold onto it until you reach the autograph table. However, if you are fortunate enough to acquire a signed guitar from a band or artist, it’s important to know what you’re holding onto.

Signed guitars hold more value than any other music memorabilia item because they are hard to find and obtain.

Search for an authentic memorabilia collectibles dealer online and check the prices for a signed guitar. While many signed guitars sell for less than ten thousand dollars, there are some that can fetch millions, especially if it’s a one-of-a-kind guitar played and signed by legends like Jimi Hendrix or Jimmy Page.

Finding The Most Expensive Pianos

In 2000, when pop star George Michael purchased John Lennon’s Steinway Model Z piano for 1.67 million, he may have been considering it as a sound investment. Pianos, the most widely played instrument in the world, can last up to 40 years if properly maintained.

This seemingly ordinary musical instrument, on which John Lennon composed the iconic hit “Imagine,” made history as the most expensive piano ever sold due to its astronomical price. Steinway & Sons, the renowned American and German company known for crafting handmade pianos since 1853, created this piece of history. It went on a global tour in 2007, visiting sites of past conflicts.

The famous manufacturer didn’t stop at this expensive masterpiece. In 2008, at Steinway’s factory in Hamburg, Germany, they custom-built the world’s most expensive grand piano, priced at $1.2 million. Adorned with a reproduction of the artwork by Chinese painter Shi Qui on the lid, the instrument was constructed using 40 different types of wood. Dubbed the “Sound of Harmony,” it took four years to create and was eventually purchased by art collector Guo Qingxiang. It later made an appearance at the Expo 2010 in Shanghai, China.

Another creation by Steinway & Sons, the …
