Evolving technology

If the movie ‘Back to the Future’ had been a prediction of what 2015 would be like, it seems like the writers were slightly off.

It’s disappointing, though, because I really want a hoverboard and a flying car, but I don’t see that happening in the next four years.

Of course, even if they did invent flying cars, they probably wouldn’t legalize them, but that’s not the point.

We might not have that kind of technology in a few years, but that doesn’t mean we’re not advanced in technology. Just think about how far we’ve come in the last few years.

If you think back to when you were growing up, you might remember a time without the internet or when you used bunny-ear antennas to improve the TV reception. You might even remember using a black-and-white TV with knobs to change the channel.

One thing that stands out in my memory is how high-tech caller ID was. The idea of knowing who was calling before picking up the phone was incredible, and now, we (including myself) won’t answer the phone if we don’t recognize the caller.

Speaking of phones, those devices have advanced tremendously.
