Religious Healing – New Age Practice of an Ancient Art

Like many practices in the New Age community, spiritual healing is an art with roots in antiquity. Since the earliest times, people of faith have been healing physical, mental, and emotional ailments through prayer, meditation Self-realization and meditation (yoga for the mind) - Peter Cajander allowed us to publish this part from his book Fragments of Reality. It talks about life from a personal perspective covering areas ranging from self-realization, meditation, stress, happiness, death, and everyday living. Peter is a writer, philosophical thinker, entrepreneur, strategy consultant, business executive, and author to name a few titles. He has been… , and the laying on of hands. However, the ability of these practices to restore the body, mind, and spirit to their naturally healthy state has often been met with skepticism. Even those who witness the results of these practices firsthand may find it difficult to reconcile this “new” reality with their carefully constructed worldview.

Fortunately, as we progress further into a new age of enlightenment, an increasing number of scientists are focusing on spiritual healing. People are rediscovering the importance of the unseen world of divine energy in our overall well-being Philosophy and Music: Twin Pillars of

Music is one of the most delightful aspects experienced in our world. It possesses the ability to connect the physical, emotional, and spiritual elements of the universe. Furthermore, it has the power to bring people from all corners of the globe together and make them forget about their differences, such as language, religion, culture, color, and gender.

Music holds significant meaning for individuals, and it’s hard to find someone who truly dislikes music in its entirety. Most people cannot imagine their lives without music. People are unique and have different preferences when it comes to music, resulting in varied responses. Some find relaxation in soft music, while others may find it irritating. Conversely, loud music can elicit joy in some individuals and incite excitement. Certain types of music, like baroque classical music, can aid in concentration and facilitate learning. The rhythm impacts the brain and the brainwaves, subsequently affecting the heartbeat and helping people relax. When we listen to music, both hemispheres of the brain are engaged, enhancing its capacity to retain and process information.

The range of music available for listening is vast. Music possesses the ability to influence our minds, either positively or negatively. This …

Religion And Society

The Pillars of God

Throughout history, one of the main philosophical debates has revolved around the nature of God and religion. Connected to this debate is the question of morality and society. A common controversy in this field is whether science and religion are in conflict with each other or if they address different concerns. Are religious matters, such as the meaning of existence and the existence of God, beyond the realm of science? Can the effectiveness of religion be proven? Does it even matter?

If we accept the assumption that God and religion do matter, what kind of evidence is available for the existence of God? The “argument from consensus” approach suggests that the widespread belief in God implies His actual existence. The “argument from Scripture” relies on writings about God. The “argument from design” asserts that our complex and ordered world must have been created by a supreme being.

Furthermore, the “argument from religious experience” claims that God exists for the individual who has had such an experience, but can this serve as a basis for someone else’s belief? Another argument for God’s existence is the moral argument, which posits a lawgiver beyond the universe. Counterarguments, particularly …

80’s Music – What Do We Know About It?

If you ask somebody about 80’s Music, it doesn’t always evoke pleasant memories in terms of musical quality. The general perception is that the 60s was the era when rock music truly blossomed, while the 70s was dominated by disco music. The 60s had iconic bands like the Rolling Stones, the Beatles, and the Who, along with many other influential groups that shaped the landscape of modern rock as we know it today.

80’s Music, unfortunately, receives less recognition from the masses, but experts argue that it doesn’t deserve such unfair treatment. Tears for Fears, one of the best bands of the 80s, produced worldwide hits like “Shout” and “Everybody Wants to Rule the World.” In reality, the 80s gave birth to many incredible songs, but it doesn’t receive the level of appreciation it deserves compared to other musical eras.

There was no shortage of contemporary pop bands in the 80s either. Artists like Pet Shop Boys and Depeche Mode emerged with hits like “West End Girls” and “Route 66,” respectively. Cult groups like The Cure also thrived during that time, and they influenced many famous artists. Psychedelic Furs, whose track “Pretty in Pink” achieved tremendous success, …
