Stainless steel drums are widely used in various industries, but specialized drum handling equipment is required to move them from one place to another. There are different types of lifting equipment available, but cradles, carriers, dollies, dumpers, and carriers are the most popular.

Here’s a brief overview of some of the steel drum handling equipment used in industries:

Drum dollies are designed to maintain the round shape of the drums. There are different variations in the shape of dollies, such as some of them being round or oval carts that are supposed to be pulled by a handle. The drum is meant to rest on the dolly in an upright position. A drum cradle is similar to drum dollies and looks like a wheelbarrow without a bucket. The drum can sit horizontally on the cradle and can then be lifted and pushed by handles. If you want to pour from the drum while pushing it, a drum cradle is the best tool.
