Ussr Art In Soviet History

Throughout history, art has always played a crucial role in shaping people’s thoughts and actions. In Soviet history, this was particularly significant; USSR art demonstrated the powerful impact art could have when used to advance a political party’s agenda. In this case, the Communist regime employed posters and images to represent the ideals of the Soviet regime and to further the party’s agenda through USSR art.

In the early days of the Russian Revolution, artists primarily created works for aesthetic purposes.
