On June 25th, 2009, fans worldwide were shocked and devastated by the sudden passing of the King of Pop, Michael Jackson. The news came as a surprise, especially since fans were eagerly anticipating Jackson’s final tour, “This Is It,” scheduled to take place at the O2 Arena in London B52 - Wade Crawley is back with a great B52 concert review! If you remember, Wade wrote for us Punk music in the late seventies. Now read his new exclusive article for ManuelMarino.com! The B52’s, London Roundhouse It was on a hot and very sweaty summer night in London’s trendy Camden and a packed audience of all… .

Jackson first gained fame at the young age of 8 and remained in the spotlight throughout his life. He released his first solo album in 1972, but it was the release of “Thriller” in the 1980s that transformed him into an international megastar, with a massive fan base in the UK and around the world. Jackson became one of the top-selling musical artists of all time, producing numerous hit songs.

In the hours following his death, the value of his best-selling album, “Thriller,” soared 15 times higher than it had been the previous night. Fans rushed to download his music, leading to his singles and albums dominating the charts for weeks.

Michael Jackson memorabilia has generated millions of pounds, as emotional fans are willing to pay any price to own something connected to the legendary artist. For many, acquiring these memorabilia items serves as a comforting gesture and a way to express their love and gratitude. The collectibles include hundreds of items such as posters, autographed merchandise, books, vintage magazines, clothing, vinyl records, CDs, promotional materials, souvenirs, novelties, and more – ranging from mugs to belt buckles, t-shirts, and even a canvas. In one instance, a cheese-flavored Cheeto, allegedly resembling Jackson performing the moonwalk, sold for £21 on eBay.
