The term music technology refers to the equipment, techniques, styles, or effects that musicians use to enhance or create a musical piece. The most common application of music technology is the music editing software that many musicians use to easily arrange their songs.
Some musicians may also use special effects to improve the composition they are working on. Many musical genres, such as techno, rely on this form of music technology to enhance the impact of their tracks.
