With the vast array of movie genres available today, people still seem to be drawn to those with a “gangster” theme and gangster films. Some of the most memorable films ever made can be classified as gangster movies. From the Godfather trilogy to Goodfellas and Casino, we all have our personal favorites.

Identifying a definitive list in this category is not an easy task. There are certainly numerous names to consider, and debates often arise regarding who should be included or excluded, or who should be ranked first.
