British clothing brand – burberry

Burberry, a renowned British clothing brand, has been supplying the Royal British family since its founding in 1856. The brand is well-known for its coats and perfumes, which have achieved significant global recognition. Burberry’s designs combine traditional English style with classic plaid patterns, distinctive materials, and sophisticated tailoring, winning the hearts of many people worldwide.

In 2001, under the leadership of Creative Director Christopher Bailey, Burberry established the Prorsum line, breathing new life into the brand. This line not only introduced new elements to the classic trench coat and Check pattern, but also revamped the brand’s image, leaving behind its previous outdated persona.

Burberry then added a new color scheme to the Check pattern—black and red plaid—and featured supermodels Kate Moss and Stella Tennant in a photo shoot wearing Burberry Check bikinis. This revitalized the brand, causing Burberry outlet sales to double and achieving the highest annual sales in the company’s 100-year history.

In 2003, Burberry introduced a new series named after its founder, Thomas Burberry, catering to a younger demographic with more lightweight and timely clothing options. This further expanded the brand’s appeal to younger consumers, with the BLACK LABEL becoming the most expensive offering.
