Rumors abound that Wiz Khalifa and Amber Rose have begun dating, although neither of them has confirmed these speculations. However, Wiz recently revealed that he recently introduced Rose to his mother. The Pittsburgh-born rapper made this revelation during an interview with Funkmaster Flex on the Hot 97 show.
Wiz described the meeting between Rose and his mother as “cool” and expressed, “They really, absolutely, truly like each other. Amber is a sweetheart, and anyone who meets her likes her anyway. So, it was a really great experience.” Wiz mentioned that Rose met his mother during the AFC Championship game, where he was invited by his beloved Pittsburgh Steelers to kick off the event by performing his famous track ‘Black and Yellow.’
The usually confident MC seemed somewhat shy as he explained the event to Flex. He mentioned that the meeting was made possible due to Rose’s flight schedule. While Wiz has shown his love for Pittsburgh on various occasions, he told The Source magazine at the end of last year that he is considering relocating to Hollywood to further his career.
The tall rapper has become a regular figure on the West Coast due to his … ...Read the rest.

The Kanji script is now more closely associated with the nation of Japan rather than China, despite its origins in China. The modern Japanese logographic writing system was developed with the help of Chinese characters, which were adopted into the Japanese system. The term “kanji” refers to Han characters of Chinese origin.
So, what is the true story behind Chinese kanji symbols and how did they become credited to Japan? It all began when Chinese articles started to enter Japan as imports, bearing inscriptions of Han characters.
One example of such an article is the gold seal that was presented to the Japanese emperor by the Han dynasty. The exact details of how and when the Japanese began to incorporate the use of Chinese characters remain a mystery.
It is highly likely that the Chinese themselves introduced the Chinese Kanji script to Japan when some of them migrated there. There was no way for the Japanese to have had the opportunity to learn and discover the script on their own.
Over time, China and Japan developed friendly relations in trade and other areas, resulting in the exchange of documents between the two countries. In such circumstances, it … ...Read the rest.

Getting the right amplifier can make a significant difference in live sound. It’s not just about quality, although that’s obviously your primary concern. Clarity is crucial, and you want something that won’t fail halfway through a solo. Additionally, the overall tone of the amplifier should complement the music you play. While most amps are designed to accommodate various musical preferences, some excel at certain sounds for specific reasons.
Before investing a substantial amount of money in an amplifier that will last you for years, it’s important to consider what type of guitarist you are. If you prefer overdriven, screaming metal sounds or want an amp capable of delivering scooped mids without sounding tinny, you should explore amps renowned for their overdrive capabilities, such as Ashdowns. If you value quality and warmth, particularly for acoustic or soft rock genres, a classic option like a Marshall might be more suitable.
Solid-state amps are similar to practice amps but on a larger scale. They are digital, offering greater durability, which is advantageous if you don’t have roadies to handle everything. They also respond well to minor adjustments. However, with solid-state amps, it’s the circuitry that is more likely to … ...Read the rest.

If you haven’t used in-ear monitors on stage while singing, you’ll be surprised at the impact they can have on your performance. Even the most affordable models work well enough to be worth the investment and can instantly enhance your vocal performance.
I have always emphasized and continue to emphasize that the best thing anyone can do to improve their singing is to learn how to listen carefully. Listening includes hearing. By using these in-ear monitors, you’ll be able to hear your vocals clearly, and as a result, you can sing stronger immediately because it’s much easier to hear yourself. The first time I used these devices during a rehearsal with my rock band The Invictas are back - Bruce Atchison is one of my (no more available Yahoo Group) best members and he wrote this great article. Bruce is a legally blind freelance writer and the author of two books, When a Man Loves a Rabbit (Learning and Living With Bunnies) and Deliverance from Jericho (Six Years in a Blind School). The first… , after just a few songs, the band members remarked, “You’ve never sounded better!”
But that’s not the coolest part. There are various … ...Read the rest.

This post typically discusses the phenomenon of television during the fall season. There are far too many shows for the average individual to keep up with in a given week. It is truly the only time of year when I find myself needing to catch up on my TV viewing. I’m not sure if that’s a good thing, but hey, it is what it is.
The following television shows are, in my opinion, the most interesting shows on TV in the fall.
Dexter tops the list. Showtime shows as a whole have recently gained momentum, but regardless of the network, Dexter is my personal favorite TV program.
Another show that I find hilarious is Bored To Death. It’s essentially about nothing, but it’s absolutely hilarious. This show is in its second season and stars Jason Schwartzman, Zach Galifinakis, and Ted Danson, who steals the show.
FX is another network that has been producing some quality programming in recent years. I have to give credit to It’s Always Sunny In Philadelphia for starting this trend. It’s Always Sunny In Philadelphia is one of the dirtiest, raunchiest, and funniest shows on TV.
No list of my favorite shows would … ...Read the rest.
