In-dash car entertainment has become increasingly popular, and NavStar Audio has been at the forefront of this emerging trend. It involves transforming the average car stereo system into a car multimedia entertainment system using a simple device called a car DVD player. This device, installed in the dash just like a car radio or stereo, offers numerous additional features, taking the car audio Amplifier And Car Sound System - How disappointing is it when you're driving and your car speakers aren't providing great sound quality? The solution is to install car amplifiers to enhance the audio quality of your car's sound system. For an even better sound effect, you can bridge your 4-channel amp to two. Let's delve into more details about bridging an… system to a whole new level. The future of car audio is finally here!

Your in-dash device can do everything your old car CD stereo or radio could do and much more. It combines a car stereo, CD player, digital television, GPS navigation system, telephone calling and answering capabilities, DVD player, music memory disc, and two-way camera capability for parking, among other features. All these functions are controlled either from a 7-inch touch screen or via the included remote control.

Here are some technical specifications for a car DVD player. Most devices come with a 7-inch touch screen, analog or digital TV tuner, Bluetooth connectivity, AM/FM radio with RDS functions, and a GPS navigation system with an optional DVB T function.

Size doesn’t really matter here. The single or double DIN-sized car DVD player utilizes a 7-inch LCD wide touch screen panel with a 3D user interface that is easy to navigate. Most car DVD players have a fully motorized flip-down front panel. They are compatible with DVD, VCD, CD, MP3, MPEG4 (DIVX), WMA, and JPEG formats. FM/AM radio with presets for 25 different stations is available, as well as RDS for European customers. An SD card reader is also integrated, and the player supports MP4, JPEG, MP3, and WMA playback. Bluetooth functionality allows for hands-free calling.

There are two basic universal sizes: 1 DIN and 2 DIN. There are also custom-fitted (OEM) sizes available that match the specific vehicle, similar to the factory car stereo that came with the car originally from the car manufacturer.

The custom-fit (OEM) car DVD player is designed to fit a specific type of vehicle, such as a Toyota Highlander with a contoured dash panel where the car stereo is placed. Usually, the custom-fit car DVD player is purchased and installed when the 1 DIN or 2 DIN universal-sized models mentioned earlier are not suitable or preferred for installation.

So whether you have a Ford, Chevrolet, Toyota, BMW, Mercedes, or any other brand of car, you can upgrade and install a car DVD player in your vehicle. Enjoy the enhanced entertainment and functionality that comes with this advanced in-dash device.
