After the filming for the Gaga-directed video was completed, her co-director Laurieann Gibson sat down with MTV to discuss the film and Gaga’s upcoming TV show, “The Dance Scene,” which will premiere this Sunday.

Gibson, who is a practicing Christian, expressed her gratitude to God for elevating her career to its current status. She explained that many people anticipate Gaga to distort Bible references and take an experimental approach with “Judas,” but they will be surprised by the scale and strength of the content. Gibson described it as “groundbreaking,” creating suspense about what Gaga has in store for her first film as a co-director. Gibson revealed that the industry will be truly surprised by the graphic content of “Judas,” and it will be an empowering creation from the “Born This Way” singer.
