Evolving technology

If the movie ‘Back to the Future’ had been a prediction of what 2015 would be like, it seems like the writers were slightly off.

It’s disappointing, though, because I really want a hoverboard and a flying car, but I don’t see that happening in the next four years.

Of course, even if they did invent flying cars, they probably wouldn’t legalize them, but that’s not the point.

We might not have that kind of technology in a few years, but that doesn’t mean we’re not advanced in technology. Just think about how far we’ve come in the last few years.

If you think back to when you were growing up, you might remember a time without the internet The World-wide-web Niche - The global economy has been severely impacted. Millions of people have lost their jobs, many are losing their homes, and retirement portfolios are disappearing at an alarming rate. What happens in the World Wide Web? We often discuss the global financial tsunami, an economic crisis on a scale that rivals the Great Depression of the… or when you used bunny-ear antennas to improve the TV reception. You might even remember using a black-and-white TV …

A Glance Into The Musical Equipment Of Jimi Hendrix

Ask any devotee of classic rock who they would place at the top of the best guitarists list, and you will get a resounding consensus that Jimi Hendrix sits on top. His music was unlike anything anyone had ever heard before. It was profoundly electrifying (literally) and steered clear of formulaic pop. Listeners had a visceral response to his songs. This was largely due to the musical equipment that Jimi Hendrix used. With this in mind, let’s take a closer look not only at his career but also at some of the equipment that made his sound so special.

Born in 1942, he emerged from Seattle, Washington. After a brief stint in the U.S. Army, he played in several low-paying gigs from 1961 to 1965. However, this fact did not in any way reflect what was to come. In 1967, he burst onto the rock scene with the release of his album “Are You Experienced,” which is considered one of the most incredible debut albums of all time.

As mentioned earlier, Jimi created music on stage that was unlike anything else. One significant reason was his use of cutting-edge musical technology.

Let’s start with his guitar. He …

Guitar Amplifiers – Adding Reverb

Finding the best guitar amp involves several factors. It’s not advisable to purchase one solely based on someone’s recommendation or its power output. Your decision should be based on the sound quality it produces when paired with your guitar, rather than relying on the brand name. Buying a well-known brand doesn’t necessarily guarantee the best sound quality for your guitar.

There’s no need to spend a large amount of money on a popular brand, as an amp from a lesser-known brand might offer similar sound quality. The most important thing to remember is that the highest output isn’t the most significant aspect of an amplifier. While it may seem appealing to be able to blast the audience’s eardrums, it is of no use if the sound quality from the amp is poor.

When making a purchase, consider the sound effects provided by the amplifier. It may have multiple channels, sound effects, and control knobs. Some people prefer to maintain an authentic sound, while others focus on reverb effects.

Certain guitar players may opt for tube amps due to their distortion and tone, which often produce a louder sound compared to solid-state amps. However, the tubes in tube …

Television Production Music

MK Awards 2011

Television production music, when selected properly and of high quality, enhances the impact of the visual image. Music complements your commercials, infomercials, network promos, TV dramas, or sitcoms. This is a fact, and it should play a crucial role in your project—absolutely no room for anything of poor quality.

There are various ways to secure your music. The common terms include Stock, Royalty-Free, Buyout Production, Video Production Music, and Production Music Libraries. While these options serve a similar function, they differ in quality, cost, and other aspects. For example, royalty-free and buyout production may seem like a more affordable choice compared to others. However, in reality, you end up paying more for nothing. You could spend hundreds of dollars on music that you won’t have any use for. You might purchase an entire CD that includes tracks completely irrelevant to your creative vision. On top of that, royalty-free and buyout production music companies are known to profit by marketing outdated CDs. You wouldn’t want to use outdated music in your project.

Maximize your video with top-notch television production music. While some libraries have limited content and low-quality music, many others offer a wide range of fresh tracks. …
